newly acquired cruiser, new basket, new cork grips, and a kickstand.
two more weeks and this baby will have a new coat of chalky white dust.

especially on a sunny afternoon,

liberation and ebullience, for the first of the day's pending adventures)

were such a hit that i just had to get my hands dirty.

1st batch---> rosewood (with cocoa butter)
2nd batch---> pure rose

can't wait to make labels.  might be the best part of the whole process
rubbing residual oils and waxes onto my skin wasn't too bad either.
my arms haven't felt so moisturized in...ever.  recipes and label-making coming soon.

 i've been making them my whole life

they are one of my favorite things to create

drawing me to my art table when nothing else does

i get to give them away

sometimes i deliver them in person,
 sometimes i drop them in a mailbox
and they are hand delivered by a stranger,
to other cities, states, countries!

mom is leaving for 3 months in Zurich,

and i made a salad with what i had laying around:
market heirlooms, parmigiano shavings, dragon tongue beans (chopped & seared
in bacon fat), raw walnuts, cracked black pepper and a good balsamic drizzle.
